Maurice Clarett Joins Omaha Pro Football Team
After 3 and a half years in prison, Maurice Clarett was released from prison and joined the Omaha Nighthawks. The Omaha Pro Football Team accepted him in the hopes for a good showing by him. Maurice Clarett had led the Buckeyes to the 2002 championships, but was caught for taking inducements and having a hidden gun outside a bar and he was sent to prison.
When at his hearing, the Ohio state coach Jim Tressel had written a letter asking if Maurice Clarett could join the Omaha Nighthawks Pro Football Team. While in Ohio state this summer, Clarett worked out so that he was in top shape for tryouts. Clarett was allowed to try out for the Omaha Pro Football Team, and made it. He states that "starting off was a little difficult, but he is improving as time goes on".

Frequently Asked Questions...
If you play semi pro football during the summer, can you still play high school football?
I am 17 in high school and I can play semi pro football but once the semi pro season is through can I still play high school football when high school season starts?
Answer:
No, that would probably cause you to lose your amateur status and you would not be able to play in high school or college.
