9ers Huge Advantage Over The Cardinals 24-6
Ted Ginn has two returns long kick, Brian Westbrook scored on an eight-yard run in place of Frank Gore San Francisco 49ers defeated the Arizona Cardinals who are struggling for a lead of 24-6 after three quarters Monday night. Arizona could not stop Westbrook, to make him get 103 yards in 17 for his 100-yard game of the first time in two years.
San Francisco ran over Arizona at the beginning, using its racing game and return Ginn to score its most points in the first half more than two years. 49ers had two drives stall in the third quarter, leading to a blocked and a record of 38 meters by Shane Andrus. It did not matter how the defense played. San Francisco had the Cardinals to 23 yards in the quarter and Takeo Spikes had an interception.
Michael Crabtree opened the scoring with a catch of 38 yards touched diving Troy Smith, a player after the 49ers recovered a botched attempt to transfer – Arizona 27: th movement of the season – between Derek Anderson and Beanie Wells in the first Cardinals play of scrimmage.

Feely cut it to 21-6 with an investment of 39 yards and Arizona got the ball end after Michael Adams had an interception that went through Crabtree's hands, but the Cardinals could not operate. Arizona had just 116 meters from San Francisco 213 in the first half ii and it got even worse in the second. LaRod Stephens-Howling returned the kickoff 83 yards second half, only to have it called back on a penalty.
Anderson, ineffective all night, threw an interception to Arizona last play of the third quarter. It was a clash between two rivals 3-7 in a sense still in a playoff race. They had to be division favorites. Arizona, the two-time defending NFC West champions, went to his first Super Bowl two years ago and hopes to return. Cardinals to become inconsistent, bad on defense, even worse to attack.
Trying to find stability after retirement Kurt Warner, Arizona coach Ken Whisenhunt has flip-flopped shifts, with the opening Anderson to go to the rookie Max Hall, then back to Anderson. None of it worked. The Cardinals have lost five straight and their last game at home, losing 18 points for the Seahawks, was marked by boos from fans, many of whom have decided not to stay around until the end.
San Francisco was expected to make his leap under the leadership of Mike Singletary this season and challenge the Cardinals for the division title. It did not happen, either. 49ers opened the season 0-5 and had a little mix-quarter of their hand, stick to Troy Smith, even if Alex Smith is now healthy.
San Luis, the flagship of the futility with six wins the previous three seasons combined, tied with another team in the mediocrity of resources, of Seattle, on top of the division 5-6. This means that the game winner Monday night was just a head game behind the NFC West, the establishment of a period of five games – turn? – Upon his arrival.
